Dearest Jack,
Well this is the second letter in two days. Again, Jack, I hope that you are not bored with my letters. I just hope that you are getting them. Of course this one is going regular air mail so it will not arrive as quickly as the one I sent yesterday (express mail), but it will arrive eventually.
I wish that you were back in California so that I could telephone you. It certainly would be good to hear your voice right now as I find myself feeling rather lonely. I don't really like to talk over the phone, but it would be nice to hear what your voice sounds like.
I keep expecting a letter or a postcard from you but nothing has come so far. I do hope you are well and that nothing is wrong. I guess that when you care about someone you start worrying about
them right away.
I am trying not to repeat myself in my letters to you but at the same time attempt to explain how I feel about you and things. I am afraid that I'm not doing such a good job at either, but will
keep trying.
I don't know whether I told you that the house for the motel use to be an INN. It has eight bedrooms and a total of 17 rooms in all! We don't usually rent any of them. We keep them for our personal guest. I am enclosing some pictures of house. It was build in 1864 and called the Mountain View Inn and over looks the Gale River (from the front porch) and the mountains to the north. Later, in 1967 two brick motel units were build on the north side of the inn facing each other and running north and south with a large pool and big lawn separating the two units. The house has four huge white pines in the yard between it and the motel units. The whole setting is very beautiful and of course the inn would certain be big enough for two couples to live in.
Well, I have a couple cords of wood pilled on the front lawn to stack on the porch for our wood stove. Guess I must close for now and start working.
Take Care!
Sincerely,
Tom

Dear Tom!
Received one air mail letter in San Diego and today second on my
new address. I have a lot to tell you. The last 8th days before
my trip to Europa I sold my apt. so I don't have to go back to
California. I got good price down and balance for 5 years 10%
interest. So I am very happy, I don’t have any more worry. I live
in small city, in my nephew apt. alone. But I will be looking for
nice place for my own. This people are very nice to me, and
wanted me to stay, how long I wanted it is a beautiful apt., but
not for me. I will be looking for one in bigger city, if possible
in Zagreb ore another big city. Tomorrow, I have to go to Police
department to register, to make tow Pictures. End of this week I
am invited visit my old friend in Brahslava--who was living in
U.S.A. for many years and also in my house 800 East Beach Rd.
You told me Dear Tom, you will not hesitate to come to Europa.
This is very nice of you, to have somebody who love me from his
hart. You are much younger of me, but I will need younger one. It
will take time, first I want to buy apt big enough for two in
nice place. Next week, I have to go to U.S.A. consulate in Zagreb
transfer my Social Security Check to bank in Zagreb, that will
take several weeks. You Tom have to apply for U.S.A. Passport,
you don't need Yugoslavian visa. You write on the same address to
my nephew. I will always get your letter. I mean time will be
looking for nice house in smaller city or an Apt somewhere. Its
lot of worry, but I have to take time. You will be welcome stay
here in this apt, it a beautiful Apt. My Nephew live just 3 miles
from here, they will not mine, but I want you when I have my own
home. Hope you will understand. I am happy, I know somebody, who
love me and that mean a lot to me. Today, I bought a Winter coat
and cap, and pair of mitts and long underwear-ha-ha. The trip to
Amsterdam was long. From Amsterdam to Zagreb same. Have a lot to
carry. I send 6 boxes last week by the post. It will take 5-6
weeks before they arrive here. I will be visiting another rela
tion and look for home for us. So don't be upset, If I don't
write to you the next day. I may be way for 4-5 days. That will
be all for now Tom and next write just air mail letter $0.55.
Best regards,
Love Jack

Dearest Jack,
Just received your letter from Yugoslavia. Jack, you certainly move fast! From California to Yugoslavia! Great! I am Both Excited and frightened at the same time. I have only been to two
countries Mexico and Germany. I have a passport that is good until January 1993. Certainly I will come over to Yugoslavia, but it will be the first week in March before I can get away. Hank and his new friend are planning a trip to Europe in Spring for three weeks and it is only right for me to take care of the motel so that they can have their "Honeymoon."
Is it all right with you if I come over in March?
Like you, I think I would prefer living in a big city such as Zagreb. I understand it is a very beautiful city. I have lived all my life in small towns (except for a brief period in New York
City) and it would be nice to live in a larger town for once.
I am sorry about always urging you to write more in my previous letters. I didn't realize that it took almost two weeks for an air mail letter to get there. (This letter I am going to send our
express mail because I want it to arrive as soon as possible. From then on I will use air mail.) I have been writing you so often because I have wanted you to know that I care for you very much. Also, Jack, it is very important now for me to know that someone cares for me.
Jack, I always try to do what is right.
I find the thoughts of learning a new language frightening. I hope that you will show much patience with me while I learn. I am also going to need a lot of love as I adapt to a new country and
culture. But I also have a lot of love to give, Jack.
Well, I must close and try to get this letter to the post office in time for it to go out today.
Sincerely,
Tom

Dear Nick,
Jack’s moved to Yugoslavia! I still can’t believe it. One minute he is in California and the next he living in Europe! Gee, I think it would be exciting to live in a different country and lean a different language. But then I am sort of taken back though that he didn’t consult me. Well, I guess he really doesn’t have a reason to since we haven’t even met. Still, if he is so much in love with me and wanting me to live with him, wouldn’t he discuss things before jumping the gun. Yes, I know that I told him living in Europe would be fine with me. Even so, he should have kept in touch with me better and let me know what it going on.
As I am writing this letter, I suddenly realize that we haven’t even talked on the telephone. Why? Well, I’ve never asked for his telephone number and he hasn’t asked for mine. I mean. I don’t want him calling here. I know that Hank is getting calls from Darrel constantly, still, I don’t want to be caught doing the same thing. I have an advantage in our relationship at the moment as he is the one involved with someone and not me (well that’s not true but he doesn’t know it). And I do want to keep that advantage. But now that Jack is in Europe I can’t telephone him! I mean how would I explain a call to Yugoslavia! And I would have to have a sack of quarters to use a pay phone. In addition the six-hour time difference would make it hard to call. And even if it did get a call through, he might not be home. But should he be pushing me to call him?
Oh, well.
Now that all the guests are gone, I am sort of enjoying myself. Well, I do have to start painting some of the motel rooms but, I putting that off as long as possible. Guess I got a lazy streak in me. But this is the time of year when I can really relax and enjoy skiing. I don’t know if I told you or not, but I joined a racing team. I’m on the Horse and Hound team. The format we are using is NASSTAR. I do think it will be fun. I’m really not as good as the locals but decided I need something this winter to keep me interested in skiing.
Damn, I almost for got. I got stopped by the police in Lincoln because my driver side taillight was burned out. I knew it from the way the blinker signal was blinking so fast but hadn’t taken the time to take to get it fixed. Well, the office that stopped me as about sixty and had a big beer belly. After he pulled me over, he got out and walked up the window and said. “Just want to warn you that your driver side taillight is out.” He said leaning against the window of the Bronco.
I was just coming back from skiing at Loon Mountain as had my ski pants on. They are tight in the crotch, so much so that my dick and balls formed a big bulge. Well as he spoke to me, I couldn’t help but notice that his eyes were flicking back and forth from my face to my crotch.
“Sorry, office.” I said as I reached down the placed my hand on the bulge in the crotch of my ski pants. “It just blew out. I noticed the turn signal blink fast as I left Loon.” I started to slowly massage my crotch as he old police office glanced down at my hand.
“Well, better get it fixed. You could get a ticket, you know.” He said. He didn’t try to hide that he was eyeing my crotch.
“Yes, Sir. I’ll get it fixed tomorrow.” I said as began to openly rub my dick and balls. I could feel my dick getting hard, swelling up under his glaze.
“How was the skiing?” He asked not even lifting his eyes from my crotch.
“Not bad for this time of the year.” I said.
“Many people skiing?” The old office asked with his eyes still fixed on my crotch.
“Not that many.” I told him. And then with trembling hands I grabbed the zipper of my ski pants and pulled it slowly down. “There wasn’t any lines at the gondola.” I added my voice cracking nervously as I waited for the old police officer’s reaction.
“Will not be like that during Christmas. The mountain will be pack with skiers.” The old officer said, still eyeing my crotch.
Gathering up courage, and telling myself that I was crazy at the same time, I reached my fingers inside my ski pants, through the opening of my longjohns and grabbed my dick. Then holding my breath, I pulled my dick out as I said. “Yea, well I won’t be skiing then. I don’t ski when on holidays. Too crowded.”
“I don’t blame you.” The old police officer said eyeing my dick as I slowly pulled my foreskin back and forth over the head of my dick. Then the police office pulled a pin out of his shirt pocket and then fished in his wallet for a card. He wrote something on the back of the card and handed it to me. “Call me when you come skiing next time. My wife works during the day. We can go to my place.” He said and handed me the card.
“Thanks.” I said looking turning the card over and reading the name and telephone. “Thanks, Doug.” I said looking up. He was gone. I glanced in my side mirror and spotted the old officer getting in his patrol car.
Damn, Nick, was I hot. And I must say it was as much fun as actually having sex. I am sure that I’ll get together with the old Lincoln police officer in the near feature.
Well, that’s about all from the North Country. I must say that I am glad I placed that ad. It seems to really charge up my sex life. And Hank having a “new friend” has made me feel that I have a right to have sex outside of our relationship. It has sort of freed me.
Take care,
Pete

Dearest Jack,
My head is still reeling from the news I received from you yesterday in your first letter from Yugoslavia. I woke up in the middle of the night and could hardly get back to sleep from thinking of meeting you in Yugoslavia. As I said before it is very exciting but also a little frightening for me. Yet, I am looking forward to coming. It will mean a complete new change for
me and should be stimulating.
As I wrote before, I plan to come the first week in March but will wait until hear from you if that time is ok before buying my ticket.
Getting a letter from you yesterday made me so happy that I went around the house humming to myself. I plan on reading it again as soon as I finish this letter.
I am sure you are having to buy some winter clothes as the ones you have for California will probably be to light for Yugoslavia's weather. I would think that clothing cost a lot
less there than in California.
I have ordered a couple of simple books on the Yugoslavian language. But don't expect very much results as I am not very good with languages. I know next to nothing about Yugoslavia as a country. But if the people are anything like you it must be a nice place. At least there you shouldn't be afraid to step out side of your door for fear of some gang member shooting you as was the case in California.
Still, I wonder if you are having any problems adjusting to your new home? It has been a long time since you lived in the old country.
It is getting near lunch time so I had better fix up something to eat. Take care and remember that I am thinking of you often.
Sincerely,
Tom

Dearest Jack,
Well, I found myself with some time on hand so thought I would get off another letter. I guess that you are busy adjusting to your new location and finding new living quarters. Just take it slow and easy. If you are patient everything will fall into place nicely, I am sure. Don't get upset if things take longer to accomplish than they did in California.
I'm still a little high from your letter and from the fact that you care enough about me to want me to live with you. You are a good man Jack and I think I'll be very good for you. I know that you will be good for me. I like every thing I have seen and read of you so far.
Business at the motel is very slow now. People don't travel much the first two weeks of December. Snow conditions are still poor and the mountain is only open on weekends so we don't get any
skiers midweek and few even on weekends. And I never go skiing on weekends with all the tourist as the mountain is crowded and you have to wait in the lift lines too long. I like to drive up and ski for an hour in the morning during the week when the mountain is almost deserted.
This winter I am signing up for one of the racing teams. A lot of the inns and restaurants sponsor NASSTAR racing teams. I signed up with the Horse and Hound Inn. Of course I not much of a racer but you get handicapped by your age and I’ll probably do well because of my age. Skiing is a diversion that I don’t think I could face the summer without.
I just finished putting together a letter to accompany a poster that we did with two other motels in the area for the ski season. I must take it by and let the others look the letter over before I began printing it on the computer. Work goes on....
I have to pick up my ski boots today from the ski shop. They are installing a heating system in them. My feet always get so cold skiing that I usually have to stop after an hour. But as I said, skiing is not important to me now. It was always just a way to get through the long cold winters up here in the North Country without getting cabin fever.
I'll be counting down the day now until March. And on each of those days I will think of you.
Must get back to work.
Sincerely,
Tom

My Dear Tom!
Received your several letters and many thanks. I was traveling
for one week, visiting friend who was living in the same house
800 East Beach Rd. Married, have nice two houses, he is 80 years
old and not in best health. They was happy to see me after 5-6
years. Return last night and have a visitors two / Vefur and
Vifer. I was tired after all day traveling and 8:30 p.m. when to
bed. Today is my writing day, to answer several letters, and also
to write to my old friends in San Diego. From now on, I am start
ing to look for apartment for us two. It may take a time to find
what I will like, for the rest of my life. Tom I will tell you
honest, I will be in January 75, I still love sex and more. My
life, I was always to honest, and many time I pay for it, but
that is in past. Now I have to start new life in Country I left
40 years ago. First, I forgot to tell you the big News. The last
5 days before I have to leave, I sold my apt in San Diego
$70,000.00, $40,000.00 down and the rest for 5 years 10% inter
est. I was very lucky man, because the sales was this time very
slow. Should write this to you first, have to much on my mine. So
I am sorry. I do speak German, Yugoslavia, and Yugoslavian. I
will teach you one or another language. I told you from start you
don't need any Visa to come here. I have send by Post 6 boxes
over here, expect them end of December. I sale the apt. complete
furnished all electric stay, because here is 220 W. So when I
start new home here, have to buy everything new. I also wrote my
Bank in L. Beach to transfer $50.000.00 to Bank in Zagreb. So we
live like in paradise. I don't like the Vinter here, because 40
years I was living warm climate. And I have already Vinter Coat.
Like you say Tom write only Air Mail Letter, that is fine--in 8-
10 days here.
Will close for now and waiting for your next letter.

Dearest Jack,
Got your letter dated November 29th along with the picture. Thanks for both.
I hope you are taking care of yourself and not letting yourself get to tired traveling and looking for an apartment. Take it slow and easy as I have said before. I really enjoyed both the picture and the postcard you sent. I am sure that I will refer to them often in the coming weeks as I sat down to write you.
Today I went skiing for the first time. I went with the Carol, wife of a couple that use to own the restaurant next door to the motel. Her husband (also named Jack)teaches skiing at Cannon and also gives me lessons. We only skied for an hour. It was fun but not very exciting as they had only one trail open. My heating units worked very well but today was not a good test because the temperature was up around 35F. I'll probably go skiing with her again on Monday at Loon Mountain where she works in a ski shop. As of now Cannon is only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Enough about skiing...
It is difficult to find an apartment in Zagreb? I know nothing about the economic system in Yugoslavia now. I guess it is working toward a market driven economy.
By the way, what kind of work did you do before you retired? As you know the only two jobs I have had is running a bookstore and a motel and then always with my lover.
I certainly hope you have a merry Christmas. It would be nice if we could spend it together but there will be other ones in the future. You will have my love and thoughts on Christmas as well as everyday.
Sincerely,
Tom

Dear Tom:
Enjoyed your letter very much. Thanks. It seems that you got
things worked out in your head about the situation there. It is
bothering you very much? How long have you and Hank been to
gether? I have never had a live-in lover (but am currently look
ing hard), and have had only two (both long distance - Ft. Myers
and Dallas) long terms relationships.
You are correct. I am on the faculty at Florida University - been
here awhile. Also have taught at Temple University and U of North
Carolina, was well as one years teaching spots in Berlin, Cam
bridge, Athens, Greece and West Germany. I am on the graduate
faculty in Psychology - teaching, supervising and directing
research. I also have a small, but busy, consulting business
which keeps me on the road around the state more than I like.
Being somewhat older than you, and having been raised in Jackson
ville I can relate to some of your memories of being gay in
Florida in the 40s and 50s. In 1948 I joined the Navy and really
did go around the world (figuratively and literally - there's a
joke there somewhere) a couple of times.
Today is the big game - FS vs FSU. I am really not into football
very much, but this little old town is really jumping - the game
is here.
There 's so much more I'd like to share with you, but there's a
stack of work over on the table just glaring at me. We finish our
semester in two week, so it's the end of the Semester crazes at
UF. Here's a couple of other photos as requested. If you like big
balls, I got' em, and I'd just love for you to fondle them while
I admired your dick.
Please send me a couple more photos - the more the better. If you
want any of them returned simple request. By the way, my number
here is 904-661 7583 - call anytime since live alone, but best is
7:30 - 9:30 PM.
Cheers, let me hear.
P.S. You have an open invitation
to visit here - because of my
Sincerely, schedule I usually must plan
several weeks in advance.

Dear Harry,
I enjoyed very much the two pictures you sent. The one of you standing outside is striking. Not only are you handsome but you are also very sexy, especially the way you wear your shorts real low.
Your body is one I would love to cuddly against. And of course I like the nude photo. You do have nice big balls and that dick of your is not slouch.
Harry, I could easily fall in love with you! I take your pictures out often. You look stern yet very lovable at the same time.
If you need someone who has lots of love to give, then I would be very good for you.
I am surprised that you have never had a live in lover. But then you probably have always been busy pursuing your goals in Academia and have left little time for your love life.
It is a little frightening to think of leaving the motel. For the past 20 years I have always worked for a lover. The thoughts of hitting the job market for a nine to five are sobering, especially during this down turn. But the thought of being a second banana to Hank's new friend is not very pleasant either.
Friday I went alpine skiing for the first time this season. The Motel (Raynor's) is three miles from the base of Cannon Mountain. So it's easy for me to drive up and ski for an hour or so. I didn't fall the first run but came close. It usually takes a couple of days skiing to get back in form. I'll take weekly lessons as I have the past few years. All the people I ski with were practically born on skis so it is a struggle for me to ski at their level. This is my 6th year skiing.
Today I put up the Christmas tree. I decorated the bolsom withred balls and red ribbons. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I know how football fever is in a collage town. Even in Dothan everyone gets excited when Alabama plays Auburn. I can imagine how it is in Gainesville with Florida State playing Florida.
I don't know when I could come down to Gainesville. It depends on how things go here. And also whether I go through with plans to travel to Yugoslavia. It is possible that I could visit you for a
couple of weeks as early as February if you are interested in the possibility of a long term relationship. As beautiful as your big balls are and as much as I would like to hold you in my arms and kiss you, I am not interested in a one night stand.
Harry, I don't know what the future holds for you and me, but I do know that I am very interested in pursuing the possibilities...
Well, I guess I had better close for now.
Sincerely
Tom

Dear Tom:
Many thanks for your reply to my letter and for the beautiful
photos. I somehow think were you here I could take care of mat
ters to the extent of your not having to worry about your current
amorous affairs mending.
Unfortunately there are many miles between us and chances of a
meeting in the near future are very slight. You are a beautiful
man and beautifully endowed. I am returning your photos as I
cannot collect such simply because a few nosy and prying nephew's
have been known to look for odds and ends...
Furthermore, I am a very negligent correspondent and long distance
communication with an unknown doesn't seem logical. BUT do
keep, in touch if you come out this way.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.
I hope your amorous problems will settle to your satisfaction by
now.
Sorry I have no nude photo to send
Sincerely,
Oliver

Dear Tom,
Really enjoyed hearing from you again and to see some more pictures
of you. I think you are a terrific looking man and I love
the size of you. Not only the big dick, but your body as well. I
know now I would really like to be in your arms. I would love to
be making love with you right now and those photos have me quite
turned on. Just don't understand how Hank can give you up. But
that's his loss and the rest of our gain. You did say their were
a couple of others you were writing.
The idea of you coming out to California in March thrills me. To
get to see you and know you will be wonderful. You are more than
wwelcome to stay here as so as you wish or forever if we wish it
so. Like you, I am wary of the ads we run the ads we answer. Love
seems to come so quickly and easily in our mail Fantasies - then,
all of a sudden in person it all poops out. I am sue you have
gone thru this just as I have. It never ceases to amaze me, but I
always keep thinking that this time it will be different. Perhaps
it will for us. Who knows? God, at least it is worth a try. Much
better than never knowing. And as you say anything is possible.
I am leaving to go to San Francisco on the 20th to spend Christ
mas there with many old friends - used to live there in the 50's
and have never really given up on it. Hope that you will have a
wonderful Christmas. I must be good and wintry there by now. We
keep having sunny and dry weather and we continue to do ran
dances - for our draught is now in its 7th year. Will be back in
Santa Barbara on the 28th.
Again, it is great striking up with you, Tom, and I really look
forward to getting to know you better. The pictures of your cock
are wonderful and I know I would be in a 7th heaven having it.
Don't have too many more of me and mine, but will enclose a
couple. If they are dupes, send en back. So, take care and have a
wonderful Holiday season. I'll be thinking of you and waiting
anxiously for another from you. I send my illusion of love.

Dearest Jack,
I am terrible sorry about the trouble that my express letter caused you and family. It certainly was not meant to cause a problem. You have enough to worry about without me causing difficult situations. Your letter came at a good time for me. Hank is back in New York and this time will bring his friend home for Christmas. It is a cold rainy day here and I find myself feeling lonely and a little depressed. Your letter helped.
I bought a tape on Yugoslavian but have not made much progress. I'm hoping to at least get use to the sounds of the words before coming....but don't expect too much.
I don't know if I told you before, but once I considered myself a writer. In fact I had a novel (science fiction) published in 1980. But the death of my friend and leaving the bookstore caused me to loose interest in writing. I am now working on a small project. I don't expect much from it but it keeps me busy on days like today. The cleaning lady (Shirley) is working today and making so much
noise that I can hardly think.
I sounds at though you are enjoying your relatives and they you. It's nice that you don't have to be alone all the time now. I think that you made a good decision returning to the "Old Coun
try."
Business for the motel is looking better at this point in time. I just contracted with a time share resort to supply them with 12 rooms at $40.00 per room every Friday and Saturday starting on January 11, 1991. Of course, I must clear it with Hank the next time he calls from New York. It should make him happy. Speaking of which, he called a few minutes ago. Seems that all is not well
between him and his new friend. Sounds as though they are all ready fighting...he is a hard man to get along with.
Well, must finish up if I am to mail this today. Take care and remember that I am thinking of you.
Sincerely,
Tom

Dearest Jack,
Seems that I have been working of my writing project so much that I have neglected my most important writing - letters to you. Actually the small writing project is turning into a novel. It might not be very good but it has kept my busy.
So how are things going in the "Old Country" these days. Still getting many visits from relatives? It sure is different than in the day at Long Beach when you were all alone. Maybe now you have more visitors than you want.
Everything here is about the same. The weather is cold and nasty. Today we are getting freezing rain. The chambermaid called and asked if she had to come in today. She said they had called off
school because of the slippery roads. We did have any rooms last night so I told her to stay home. Sunday we got a foot of snow so that should bring up the skier this coming weekend (if the rain
doesn't melt all the snow).
Hank is still in New York City. He returns on the 21st. As far as I know he is still bring his new friend up for a visit even though from what he says things are not going so well between them. I don't know the full story. I think his friend (Darrel) is a little bit mixed up in the head. He is an "artist". He makes short "arty" movies and I guess that is his life. He is subleasing his apartment for a year and moving into the editing room where work for a company that edits videos. The owner of the company is Darrel's ex lover. Apparently Darrel's apartment was so dirty that Hank only say there two night before moving over to say with some other friends. Darrel stay with him at those friends over the weekend. Still, Hank says that although they slept together they have not had sex. Strange, very strange behavior from both of them. Will keep you posted on the Franconia soap
opera.
As I write, I am glancing over at the first picture that you sent me. I seem to never get bored looking at it. If you get a chance to take some pictures of yourself in your new surrounding it would be nice to see them.
Jack, you take care of yourself and remember that you are in my thoughts.
Sincerely,
Tom
